Senior SEO Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven senior SEO specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to improve our website's organic search rankings, drive targeted traffic, and enhance overall online visibility. You will work closely with content creators, developers, and other marketing team members to ensure that all digital content aligns with SEO best practices and delivers measurable results.
Your expertise in keyword research, competitive analysis, on-page and off-page SEO, and technical SEO will play a critical role in achieving our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy Development:

• Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, traffic, and conversions.

Keyword Research and Analysis:

• Perform in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities and optimize existing content.

On-Page Optimization:

• Audit and enhance on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, URL structures, and internal linking.

Content Strategy:

• Collaborate with the content team to create and optimize SEO-driven content, ensuring alignment with targeted keywords and user intent.

Technical SEO:

• Conduct technical audits to identify and fix issues like crawl errors, site speed, mobile usability, and indexability.

Link Building:

• Develop and execute white-hat link-building strategies to improve domain authority.

Performance Tracking:

• Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) such as rankings, traffic, and conversions using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush.

Competitive Analysis:

• Conduct competitor research to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in the SEO landscape.

Collaboration:

• Work cross-functionally with marketing, development, and product teams to implement SEO best practices.

Requirements:

Experience:

• At least 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving search rankings and organic traffic.
• Experience in the travel and tourism industry is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Nightwatch, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for SEO purposes.

Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.

Analytical Abilities:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and develop actionable recommendations.

Communication:

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
