● Purchasing all the needed technical equipment and required office supplies for the organization.
● Receiving and classifying all the purchase orders and prioritizing them according to the budget.
● Identifying the best price and supplier.
● Controlling the purchased materials based on the quality, number and other specifications mentioned in the purchase order.
● Following up the payment procedures from the Finance Department.
● Estimating the lead time from ordering to delivering the goods to the factory.
● Coordinating with the logistic department to deliver the materials on time.
● Preparing the required reports on the purchasing activities.
● Developing an up-to-date database of the suppliers.
Requirements
● University qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or Business Management.
● Nature and length of previous experience: minimum 3 years of experience as a procurement specialist.
● Specialist knowledge: familiar with the relevant market and suppliers and expert in procurement practices.
● Soft skills and personality traits: teamwork, adaptability, resilience and stress, management, result orientation, good communication and negotiation skills.
● Ideal age range: 25-36 years old.
● Language skills: good command of English.
● Office skill: Excellent in Excel.
