● Implement various development, testing, automation platforms, and IT infrastructure based on cloud-native technologies and landscapes. ● Drive automation of Infrastructure deployment for production and pre-release environments. ● Design, implement and scale continuous integration, build management, and deployment platforms. ● Develop digital infrastructure and work on automated code, reducing the requirement for human interaction with the platform. ● Monitor various systems capacity and health indicators and trends; provide analytics and forecasts for added or reduced capacity as required. ● Identify areas for process and efficiency improvement within platform services operations; recommend solutions and assist in overseeing implementation and actively facilitate continuous improvement. ● Collaborate with development and operations teams to facilitate practical automation solutions and custom modules. ● Define and document standard run books and operating procedures. ● Create and maintain system information and architecture diagrams. ● Stay on top of industry best practices and trends, as well as changes to compliance requirements.
● 3 to 5 years of proven experience in modern engineering practices such as DevOps and Agile ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. ● Experience with Software Architecture and Infrastructure Patterns Immutable Infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, Platform Design Patterns, SRE Fundamentals (SLA/SLO/SLI), DRY, KISS, and YAGNI. ● Experience with DevOps Platform tooling: SVC tools like Git, CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab, Configuration Management like Ansible, IAC tools like Packer, Terraform, and Vault, Containerization Systems like Docker, Kubernetes or Openshift, Observability Systems like Prometheus, ELK and Grafana, Message Queuing Systems like Kafka. ● Understanding HTTP protocol and experience in the management of server implementations. ● Understanding of TCP/IP, load-balancing clusters, server load balancing, and firewalls.
