Job Summary
The Senior Medical Representative is responsible for scientific detailing and marketing of the company’s products to physicians, pharmacies, clinics, and related medical centers under the supervision of the Training Department. In addition to scientific presentations, this role involves developing professional networks, driving sales growth, and executing promotional activities nationwide.
Responsibilities
Conduct scientific detailing of company products to physicians, pharmacists, and dermatology clinics
Plan and execute daily visits according to the sales schedule
Participate in congresses, workshops, and scientific events
Prepare marketing reports, collect market feedback, and analyze competitors
Provide scientific and product support to pharmacies and sales points
Develop and execute sales growth plans within the assigned territory
Deliver scientific training to the sales team when required
Collaborate with the Marketing Department to implement promotional campaigns
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in medical detailing or pharmaceutical/dermo-cosmetic sales
Preferably experienced in dermatology, skin & hair products, or Dermo-Cosmetics
Strong scientific presentation and professional communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage physician/pharmacy relations
Familiarity with sales principles, marketing basics, and market analysis
Ability to prepare reports; proficiency in CRM software and Excel
Professional appearance, strong public relations skills, willingness to learn, and ability to travel within the region
Key Skills
Strong knowledge of basic skin & hair anatomy (major advantage)
Effective presentation and communication skills
Time management and planning abilities
Negotiation skills and capability to expand professional networks
Familiarity with competitors and trends in the Dermo-Cosmetics market
