Job Description

• Reviewing, commenting, and drafting a wide range of contracts in English and Persian.
• Assisting the legal department in various legal issues including inter alia, drafting memos, legal correspondence, and corporate documents.
• Developing and providing employee training on Legal/Compliance policies and
• Providing legal advice and counsel on matters involving legal risks and consequences for the company.
• Providing monthly and quarterly departmental reports.
• Organizing, maintaining, and updating the contracts database and legal archive, utilizing electronic tools as directed for this purpose.
• Supporting legal and compliance project coordination with local and international stakeholders.
• Assisting with all required legal communications and internal and external stakeholder interactions.
• Keeping up with current changes in all relevant areas of law and ensuring compliance with internal controls, statutory regulations, and other formalities.
• Preparing and filing required compliance monthly and quarterly reports.
• Supporting compliance project coordination.


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
• At least 4 to 5 years of experience in the legal department of a company, preferably with demonstrated experience in contract drafting and review and compliance.
• Previous experience in identifying and resolving legal issues and risks in a timely and effective manner while providing advice in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to offer pragmatic advice and solutions on short timelines with imperfect information and to act with agility in response to shifting priorities or changing circumstances.
• Proven ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage self-directed work, build trust and relationships within the legal and compliance department and with teammates in other functions at all organizational levels.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical company is a strong plus.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English in legal and business contexts.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, time management skills, and attention to detail.
