Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management strategies to ensure the timely and cost-efficient acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required for company operations and projects.
This role oversees the entire procurement cycle—from identifying potential suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
You also monitor supplier performance, develop long-term strategic partnerships, and continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business and project objectives.
⦁ Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers to ensure reliability, competitiveness, and compliance with quality and ethical standards.
⦁ Lead contract negotiations and documentation, manage EUS, and secure the most favorable commercial terms
⦁ Oversee purchase order issuance, tracking, and delivery follow-ups.
⦁ Manage supplier relationships and performance through regular evaluations and audits.
⦁ Collaborate with project and engineering teams to clarify technical specifications and ensure timely material availability.
⦁ Control procurement budgets, report on cost-saving initiatives, and manage risk in the supply chain
⦁ Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and international trade compliance
⦁ Maintain accurate records of contracts, supplier databases, and procurement documentation.
Core Competencies and Qualifications:
⦁ bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
⦁ Minimum 5–10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management
⦁ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
⦁ Excellent command of English (additional languages are an asset)
⦁ Deep knowledge in incoterms and risk management
