Implement, and troubleshoot the network environment.
Develop documentation and diagramming of infrastructure and network topology changes.
Effectively use monitoring/administrative tools to maintain network uptime and efficiency, including, Cisco Prime/ISE, and PRTG monitoring.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of solid hands-on Cisco routing and switching experience; 2+ years of experience with firewalls and VPN technologies; 2+ years of experience with VoIP technologies.
Excellent documentation skills including Visio diagrams.
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
Cisco Certified Network Professional certification is required.
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification is preferred.
Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms.
Hands-on experience with Fortigate.
Hands-on experience with Mikrotik.Hands-on experience with FreePBX.
Experience with Layer 2 technologies: VLANs, VTP, and STP.
Experience with Security Technologies: DMZ, IPsec, and DAI.
Strong knowledge of network components (WAN and LAN).
Excellent logical analysis and troubleshooting ability.
Ability to work well with other groups to plan, design, and implement functional networks.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure situation.
