Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our team. this role is an ideal opportunity for senior engineers to tackle complex technical challenges and drive their expertise to the next level. Your work will be crucial in building, automating, and optimizing our infrastructure to ensure our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to empower developers to deliver code faster and more reliably.
- Automate manual tasks and streamline workflows across the entire software development lifecycle.
- Help manage our infrastructure and oversee configuration management for systems and applications.
- Implement and champion security best practices (DevSecOps) within our pipelines and processes.
- Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning to ensure our systems can handle growth.
- Help ensure smooth, zero-downtime releases and participate in an on-call rotation.

Areas for Impact & Growth:

- Take ownership of designing and architecting new infrastructure solutions.
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor for other team members.
- Drive the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and tools.
- Manage significant parts of our infrastructure and initiate projects to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
- Strong experience in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- +6 years of relevant professional experience is necessary.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
- Experience with automation and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Familiarity with artifact repositories like Nexus.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus/Grafana.
- A strong teamwork attitude and excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with Helm for Kubernetes packaging.
- Experience guiding others on technical projects or sharing knowledge.
- A proven ability to design and implement complex systems.
- Knowledge of cloud platform.
