Job Description

Sea Freight Sales Specialist;

Duties and Responsibilities:

Attracting New Customers:

  • Identifying the target market and establishing contact with potential customers.
  • Holding in-person or online meetings to introduce the company's services.

Following Up On Customer Requests:

  • Receiving shipping information, consulting on the route, type of shipping, and required documents.
  • Estimating shipping costs and preparing a pro-forma invoice for the customer.

Negotiating and Concluding Sales Contracts:

  • Negotiating rates, payment terms, schedules, and other obligations.
  • Drafting cooperation contracts or service agreements.

Liaising with Internal and External Departments:

  • Coordinating with operations, finance, customs, and international representatives.
  • Following up on customer shipping status and informing until final delivery.
