•Objective: An ideal candidate supports and leads customers by identifying their needs, providing technical consultancy and preparing financial figures throughout tender till closing of the contract.
•Key responsibilities:
-Establishes new, and maintains existing, relationships with customers
-Prepares cost estimates by studying blueprints, specs, and related technical documents in conjunction with technical staff
-Offers technical solutions and financial figures which best fit the customers’ requirements
-Prepares presentations, participates in meetings and provides technical consultancy to customers
-Negotiates contracts terms and conditions
-Attends in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences and other marketing events
-Keeps close collaboration with marketing staff in order to effectively grow distribution channels
-Prepares sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends
-Ensures that regular sales targets are met
-Reporting to: Sales Director
-Probation: 3 months
-Travel requirements: Occasional travel within country to visit customers
Requirements
-At least BSc degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a well-known university
-At least 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing of electrical switchgears and distribution panels
-Familiar with potential customers and target markets in Oil & Gas and Industrial segments
-Experienced in cost estimation of LV and MV switchgears
-Excellent knowledge of electrical distribution, measurement and automation components and vendors
-Proficient in analysis and interpretation of technical drawings such as: SLD diagrams, schematic drawings, logic diagrams and protection schemes
-Experience with sales module of Hamkaran System will be considered as a plus
-Good communication skills
