Job Description

Process or mechanical sales engineer who is familiar with thermal equipment related to the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, and power plant industry such as fired heaters, furnaces, etc. Job description: ● Respond to received inquiries and client requests. ● Prepare technical and commercial proposals. ● Provide bid stage MTO for cost estimation. ● Cooperate with different disciplines especially procurement, production, and QC. ● Clarify technical and commercial matters with the client. ● Do correspondence in English. ● Gather market, customer, and sub-vendor information. ● Evaluate sub-suppliers from the technical viewpoint. ● Visit potential customers and present company capabilities to them. ● Report to: Sales Supervisor. ● Travel requirements: Occasionally within the country.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Petrochemical, or Chemical Engineering. ● At least 3 years of experience. ● Familiar with equipment cost estimation in the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical industry. ● Familiar with different project documents e.g. material requisition, process data sheets, specifications, standard drawings. ● Excellent command of both written and spoken English. ● Good team worker. ● Good communication skills. ● A high degree of self-motivation. ● Able to meet deadlines.
