Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales and Marketing Director to lead a major pharmaceutical business unit. This role carries full P&L accountability and is responsible for driving sustainable growth, commercial excellence, and competitive market positioning. The successful candidate will lead a large cross-functional team and play a critical role in shaping business strategy, accelerating performance, and strengthening organizational capability.
Key Responsibilities • Define and execute long-term business strategy aligned with corporate objectives • Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability • Own full P&L accountability, including budgeting and forecasting • Lead commercial excellence across Sales and Marketing • Oversee product lifecycle strategy and successful launches • Build and develop high-performing leadership teams • Establish a strong performance culture and succession pipeline • Ensure cross-functional collaboration and operational alignment • Maintain the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct
Requirements • 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry • Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles • Proven track record of P&L ownership and business growth • Strong strategic, financial, and commercial acumen • PhD in Pharmacy, Medicine, or related fields • MBA or advanced management degree (preferred) • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire large teams
