The position:

As a regional medical advisor, you enable scientific dialogue with healthcare professionals based on marketing portfolio strategies.

Your main duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute strategic Medical Affairs plans aligned with brand objectives, including managing clinical studies and publication strategies.
  • Lead engagement plans for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and stakeholders, collaborating with Business Unit colleagues to ensure effective communication and training for sales teams.
  • Maintain cross-functional collaboration with Global Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and other affiliates to share best practices and ensure alignment with global strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory guidelines, reviewing promotional materials for medical accuracy and providing therapeutic expertise to internal stakeholders.
  • Support patient access strategy for focus products, participating in personal development and training sessions to uphold Novo Nordisk's core values and professional standards.

Requirements

  • A university degree preferably as a Medical Doctor, PharmD. or Ph.D. in Bio-Medical Sciences.
  • Alternatively, candidates without a medical degree must possess at least 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in a position related to medical affairs.
  • Strong presentation abilities coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Full working proficiency in both oral and written English is essential.
