Job Description
The objective of the role:
As Roche Pars Receptionist you will be the first point of contact and the front face of the company for all visitors, guests, customers, callers, and suppliers to promote a professional company image. As part of the general services team, you will also provide general administrative support related to offices and facilities.
List of responsibilities:
● Maintain front desk procedures including contact information, directions, and frequently requested company information.
● Manage the switchboard: answer incoming calls, determine the purpose of the calls, and transfer calls.
● Take phone messages and ensure that the messages are passed to the right employees on a timely basis.
● Greet guests, interact with visiting vendors and direct them appropriately.
● Follow proper security procedures by monitoring visitors' access cards.
● Receive, sort, and distribute mail/courier/deliveries.
● Arrange courier services and perform administrative tasks related to Custom Clearance.
● Maintain inventories of office supply; order and re-stock as needed.
● Interface with the building for any arrangements regarding employee and visitor parking.
● Update office databases such as contact list, parking rotation, letter numbering, etc.
● Register new employees' data in the clock in/out system, register fingerprints, and issue door access cards.
