Job Description

● Study the latest technologies and try to localize and apply them to the company's products. ● Participate in planning to modify and improve products, optimize processes, and absorb technologies. ● Conduct standardized tests on foods, beverages, additives, or preservatives to ensure compliance with standards and regulations regarding factors such as color, texture, or nutrients. ● Check raw ingredients for maturity or stability for processing, and finished products for safety, quality, and nutritional value. ● Taste or smell foods or beverages to ensure that flavors meet specifications or to select samples with specific characteristics. ● Develop new or improved ways of preserving, processing, packaging, storing, and delivering products, using knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, and other sciences. ● Test new products for flavor, texture, color, nutritional content, and adherence to government and industry standards. ● Track products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct. ● Perform detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards. ● Eliminate products that are not up to standards and find the reasons for product problems. ● Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment. ● Ensure that products adhere to quality standards. ● Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data. ● Perform regular maintenance of laboratory equipment by inspecting, calibrating, cleaning, or sterilizing. ● Analyze test results to classify products or compare results with standard tables. ● Mix, blend, or cultivate ingredients to make reagents or to manufacture food or beverage products. ● Stay up to date on new regulations and current events regarding food science by reviewing scientific literature. ● Evaluate food processing and storage operations and assist in developing quality assurance programs for such operations. ● Confer with process engineers, plant operators, flavor experts, and packaging and marketing specialists to resolve problems in product development. ● Study the structure and composition of food or the changes foods undergo in storage and processing. ● Seek substitutes for harmful or undesirable additives. ● Study methods to improve aspects of foods, such as chemical composition, flavor, color, texture, nutritional value, and convenience. ● Develop food standards, production specifications, safety and sanitary regulations, waste management, and water supply specifications. ● Develop new food items for production, based on consumer feedback.

Requirements

● At least five years of relevant experience. ● Knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting, growing, and harvesting food products (both plant and animal) for consumption, including storage/handling techniques. Excellent public relations and a well-organized attitude. ● Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook. ● Teamwork, adaptability, resilience and stress, result orientation, good communication, and negotiation skills. ● Gender preference: Male. ● Ideal age range: 30 to 45 years old.
