Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for managing, monitoring; reporting, advising, and following up on manufacturing product specifications (in conjunction with R&D, L&B, TS, TP, and NTM groups). he/she will be also responsible for managing IMI (Incoming Material Inspection), MRB (Material Review Board), BOM (Bill of Materials), material and supplier qualification, NPD support, material and product shelf life, and is a link between factory, suppliers, NPD, market, and R&D on handling PQF (Product Quality Feedback).

Areas of responsibility:

  • Managing factory QA-related activities such as product specification, IMI (Incoming Material Inspection), MRB (Material Review Board), material tests and qualifications, contamination prevention, CPA (corrective/preventive action) management, suppliers’ performance monitoring, and continuous improvement,
  • Managing and organizing tests and trials and conducting them based on need in collaboration with factory, local and global functions.
  • Initiating and creating local SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and ensuring local and global SOPs and procedures are executed and respected.
  • People management and talent development by planning, designing, and executing training as well as providing constructive and continuous feedback.
     

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, or other related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar job environment related to quality assurance.
  • Experience working in international companies is a plus.
  • Experience working in quality and FMCG fields is a plus.
  • Project management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate and work cross-functionally.
  • Fluency in writing, listening, and speaking English.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel, Access, and PP.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong thought leadership, structured and results-driven way of working.
  • Result-oriented and getting things done attitude.
