Job Description

Purpose:

The incumbent will be responsible to control the activities related to PS (Product Specifications) both in RMC (Readymade Cigarette) and Primary (in conjunction with R&D and global technical groups), support NPD (New Product Development), QA-related tasks, product, and material trial tests, finished goods and material shelf-life extensions, and to control the JTI artworks to support IMI (Incoming Material Inspection) process as well as trainer on process/product knowledge for non-factory employees. Additionally, will be the contact person for Rahkaran, R&D-related activities/communication, and Factory CP (Contamination Prevention) program.

Responsibilities:

  • To follow the raw material change in connection with planning, material SLE (shelf-life extension), and new product-related projects.
  • To perform product and raw material trial tests, sampling, and reporting in connection with R&D and procurement teams.
  • To follow the shipments, related costs, and budgeting through the Rahkaran system, annual costs, and trials planning during ASP (Annual and Strategic Planning) period, providing documentation during audits (e.g., ISO).

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering fields, Food Technology, Chemistry, and/or any other equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar job environment related to quality control/improvement.
  • Experience in working in international companies is a plus.
  • Experience in working in quality and FMCG fields is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate and work cross-functionally.
  • Fluency in writing, listening, and speaking English.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Access, and PP).
  • Excellent analytical skills, structured and results-driven way of working- being result-oriented and getting things done in a timely manner.
