Job Description

We are looking for a senior mechanical engineer as a purchasing specialist in our commercial department. Job description: ● Developing and implementing procurement activities includes procurement planning, sourcing, analyzing, budgeting, order placement, contracting, expediting, cost control, logistics, and delivery of all purchases. ● Taking the necessary quotations from contractors/suppliers in accordance with company purchasing procedures. ● Managing tenders and preparing a commercial analysis for the procurement manager. ● Participating in supplier audits. ● Sourcing capable resources in accordance with the scope of work and commercial/technical qualifications. ● Following up on all manufacturing orders and making sure all QC requirements are conducted. ● Expediting and ensuring timely delivery of all orders. ● Preparing related reports to the procurement activities' progress. ● Managing suppliers and making sure the best in price and quality is delivered.

Requirements

● 10 to 15 years of experience in a related field preferably in Oil, Gas, and industrial projects. ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. ● UI level in English. ● Familiar with the goods, materials, and equipment, also suppliers and contractors. ● Problem-solving, critical thinking, and self-motivation skills. ● Hardworking, team working, effective negotiation, and communication skills. ● Excellent ICDL knowledge. ● Excellent knowledge of MS Office. ● Excellent knowledge of respected local and international laws and regulations to the procurement and logistics (Insurance, shipping, import and export, LC, bank guarantees, etc.).
