Job Description

Sandroos Sanat Company is looking for an experienced and dedicated project engineer to assist with the planning, scheduling, managing, and resourcing of all commercial and technical activities to ensure project quality and accuracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the project’s different criteria to make sure all the elements of a project in terms of commercial, technical and execution aspects are appropriately implemented. Project engineers work in an office environment during regular business hours, though they spend most of their time at their office in front of their computers or in internal meetings with other departments. Occasionally they travel to consult with contractors and/or clients; they sometimes work overtime, especially when commuting and as the deadlines approach. Project engineers typically act as the point of contact for clients regarding commercial, technical, and execution aspects of the job. A project engineer works as a team during the entire life cycle of engineering, procurement, and construction project. This professional ensures the design, consistency, and functionality of a project throughout its execution. Project engineers typically perform the following tasks: ● Participate in the process of contract checks and negotiating with the client about the clauses of that. ● Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor all assigned projects. ● Participate in the process of agreements on timescales, costs, and resources. ● Communicate effectively during daily interactions with clients to interpret their requirements and needs. ● Maintain quality control in every area, including team dynamics, personnel performance, planning, scheduling, and budget. ● Procurement control and forecast readiness of each item in project BOM to avoid any shortages. ● Develop, implement and maintain external and internal cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts. ● Submit reports on project status in terms of time frame, cash flow, procurement, logistics, etc. ● Communicate effectively with the project manager and other team members to provide assistance, commercial, execution, and technical support. ● Review engineering or execution deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions throughout the project life cycle.

Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. ● At least 3 to 4 years of experience as a “Project Engineer” or “Project Expeditor”. ● Good knowledge of English, especially in writing formal letters. ● Ability to work on deadlines and multi-tasks. ● Team worker. ● Highly organized, detail-oriented, and works with a high level of accuracy.
