- Planning and monitoring the production daily, monthly and yearly
- Control and monitoring production and processing to achieve the targeted and manage the raw material, man power, machines all utilities efficiently, Safety and Hygienic.
- Supervise, mentor and develop the production team to ensure they reach their full potential in their roles
- Prepare and recommend the budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon
- Ensure that all activities are monitored and regulatory compliance audits and inspections are conducted for an effective implementation of regulatory standards
- Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate reports
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree; study in food science or manufacturing engineering is recommended
• Proven experience in people management
• Sound knowledge of Food Safety standards (HACCP, GMP)
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and lead a diverse workforce
• A continuous improvement mind-set, committed to safety, quality and people
• An enthusiastic, innovative driven approach, which successfully delivers in a dynamic team orientated environment
• Ability to use MS Office and other computer software application programs necessary
• Minimum of 1-year previous production supervisory experience, Experience working in fish processing or canned food manufacturing.
