Job Description

Mission:

  • To do business analysis and design new products and services aligned with MTNIrancell’s strategies.
  • To coordinate agile development of the assigned new products and services to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction, minimize churn, and explore revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • To liaise with “Channel Management and Product Delivery” and “Product Operations” members as a cross-functional team to analyze new services from all perspectives, and design them to realize planned benefits accordingly.
  • To liaise with all required business divisions as new services’ stakeholders to collect and analyze their requirements.
  • To liaise with technical divisions (Information Technology Systems (ITS) and Network) to study the required feasibility and start service implementation.
  • To play a “Business Analyst and Product Designer” role in cross-functional teams to work on new products and services’ value streams.
  • To analyze the market and benchmarks, liaise with all stakeholders to collect and analyze all requirements based on Business Analysis tools and techniques, and design the products using the Design Thinking approach.
  • To explore and identify new product ideas, untapped revenue opportunities, new markets, and new customers and suggest them to management.
  • To draw up and document detailed product specifications (URS) and customer journey maps for new products, propose new ideas and enhancements, target maximum product performance, submit them in the portal, and get necessary approvals.
  • To prepare tender documents for related products and control and evaluate efficient and effective tender participants to select the best vendor for product delivery.
  • To prepare product roadmap, design commercial releases to launch the product into the market step by step, and develop to Market plan for new products and enhanced services.
  • To participate in clarification sessions with vendors, ITS, and other departments and stakeholders to finalize the required solution.
  • To develop detailed test cases for new products or their enhancement and share them with the ITS Quality team and other stakeholders (in alignment with “Channel Management and Product Delivery” and “Product Operations” teams).
  • To propose and execute communication plan of assigned products and services, aligned with Product Delivery and Product Operations teams.
  • To conduct new product implementation, test, analysis, and monitoring of the quality of service before and after commercial launch and to ensure compliance to product objectives, established best practices and benchmarks as part of value streams’ cross-functional teams.
  • To ensure the proper rollout of new products and services throughout the wide geography of Iran.
  • To coordinate the development of training programs and technical support guides for product suite by CR, S&D, and Legal.
  • To prepare necessary reports of assigned products and services for management.
  • To monitor the product lifecycle and take necessary actions based on the stage of the products or services.
  • To analyze FTTX-related products and services from all perspectives, design a customer journey map and product roadmap, and develop to Market plan to ensure proper rollout and alignment with the objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Marketing, Communications, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or related fields; or an MBA graduate. 
  • At least 3 years of experience in the area of business analysis and product development.
  • Working experience in IT and telecommunication organizations.
