Position Procurement Technical Assistant
Reports to Logistics Coordinator
Supervision None
Duty station Kerman Iran
Travel as required
Contract 3 months probation with possible extension

Role and Responsibilities
Provide procurement support under supervision of Procurement Coordinator in area office Iran
Responsibilities
Follow NRC policies tools and guidelines
Support implementation of procurement activities
Prepare status reports as required
Maintain proper document filing
Support improvement of procurement processes
Support protection and program activities
Identify and report needs and gaps
Specific Tasks
Receive requisitions and collect quotations according to NRC rules
Support procurement planning and follow up with programme teams
Maintain records of requisitions quotations and purchase orders
Coordinate with warehouse on delivery of goods
Ensure complete documentation for all procurement files
Support training of staff on procurement procedures
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
Support preparation of bid committee documents
Assist in preparing purchase orders and contracts
Prepare procurement reports
Perform tasks assigned by supervisor

Competencies
Experience in support or procurement role in humanitarian context
Experience in complex environments
Proven results in similar roles
Good English skills
Preferred
Knowledge of local context
Computer skills including Microsoft Office
Knowledge of procurement and supply chain
