Job Description

We are looking for a process engineer to be responsible for preparing engineering documents. This engineering activity is related to the equipment of water and wastewater plants. The responsibilities of the process engineer include checking client’s documents and requirements, attending technical meetings, preparing related process documents such as datasheets, technical proposal, P&ID, PFD, process description, etc., doing certain calculations and sizing, negotiating with client and vendor in order to implement essential deviations and modifications which are not included in the first requisitions or proposals. Carry out necessary activities and provide suitable documents for mechanical and fabrication. Responsibilities: ● Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, process datasheets, utility consumption list, equipment list, line sizing, and C&E charts. ● Check P&IDs, control philosophy, operating manual, and equipment sizing calculations. ● Check instrument and mechanical datasheets and filling process datasheets. ● Review or prepare contracts attached documents such as MR, technical clarifications, specifications, and standard drawings. ● Support purchasing and procurement team for preparing related purchase documents list such as MR, technical clarifications, technical bid evaluations, etc. ● Support design and manufacturing activities by attending mutual meetings. ● Participate in technical meetings with clients and sub-vendors (if any).

Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or other related fields. ● Acquainted with a sand filter and side stream filtration package would be a priority. ● Minimum 3 to 4 years of proven working experience in water and wastewater treatment and the utility field. ● Fluent in English. ● Knowledge of process simulation software, such as ROSA, WAVE, and AutoCAD. ● Knowledge of Instruments and control systems. ● Familiar with applicable standards (API, ISO, and ASME).
