- Proactive support of the Country Manager Iran in establishing and maintaining business operations in Iran
- Provision of technical know-how during business negotiations
- Supervision and management of technical installations on site
- Recruitment of local personnel
- Assistance in the acquisition of potential new clients/contracts through the monitoring of national and international tender announcements
- Act as company representative during conferences and exhibitions
- Liaison with the relevant departments at the headquarters in Dreieich, Germany
- Coordination of required training for colleagues and clients
Requirements
- University degree in Biomedical Engineering and/or Chemical Engineering (or similar engineering/natural science disciplines related to laboratory, analytical or medical equipment).
- Project management skills as well as an advanced level of Excel, Word etc.
- Experience in the applications and/or sales of laboratory, analytical or medical equipment
- Attention to detail, initiative and an independent working style
- Native proficiency in Farsi, professional fluency in English
- Understanding of national and international tender and bidding procedures and preferably experience in foreign trade and logistics
- Ability to adapt to a German management style with a flat hierarchy and open channels of communication
- Willingness to travel within and outside Iran
