Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled operations expert to join our team at Nik Pad Darya International Transportation and Shipping Agency. As an operations expert, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing shipments while ensuring excellent service to our clients. Below is an enhanced version of the job description:

Responsibilities:

Receive inquiries from house clients and the sales department, and leverage your negotiation skills to secure the best rates with overseas agents and shipping lines/carriers.
Proactively follow and track shipments, providing regular updates to clients regarding their cargo's status and anticipated arrival dates.
Coordinate with overseas networks to book shipments and provide detailed shipping instructions.
Constantly update the arrival schedule, closely monitor cargo arrival dates with shipping lines/carriers, and promptly notify clients of any changes or delays.
Take charge of billing all relevant charges to customers and ensure timely receipt of invoices by clients.
Monitor and track shipments from initiation to final delivery using our company's specialized software, OTMS.
Process delivery orders, warehouse receipts, and EPLs efficiently.
Generate comprehensive monthly reports for the management to keep them informed of the overall operational performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
IRU or FIATA certifications would be highly regarded.
At least three years of experience in a similar operational role within the transportation and logistics industry.
Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics practices, with a deep understanding of the shipping process from start to finish.
Excellent teamwork skills, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues, overseas agents, and clients to achieve shared goals.
Demonstrate creativity and problem-solving abilities to tackle various challenges that may arise during operations.
Customer-oriented mindset, ensuring clients receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.
Exceptional communication skills to interact with clients, overseas partners, and internal stakeholders effectively.
