Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual in the field of Information Technology and Networking. The ideal candidate should possess a wide range of technical knowledge and abilities to perform diverse tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring and troubleshooting communications at the LAN/WAN level.
Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for colleagues.

Requirements

Familiarity with server hardware configuration and connections.
Understanding virtualization concepts with VMware.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with data storage on SAN and NAS.
Familiarity with Backup software.
Understanding Switching, Routing, and Firewalling concepts.
Ability to work with public network services such as DNS, DHCP, File sharing, and Active Directory.
Ability to work with VoIP services.
Mastery of internal infrastructure software, hardware, and network matters, including modems, routers, switches, printers, network phones, access points, and cameras.
Ability to perform passive network tasks if necessary.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in a related position.
Ability to report and document network processes.
Crisis event management and problem-solving skills.
Eager to learn and face new challenges; experience with web services and cloud services is considered a plus.
Work experience in high-user-count companies and on-call conditions are preferred.
