● Analyze market trends and conditions to understand where opportunities for networking and business-building may arise. ● Reach out to doctors and other medical professionals through both offline and online means and develop constructive relationships. ● Negotiate contracts with prospective clients taking care of terms of the agreement and post-contract formalities. ● Work closely with departments of purchase, sales, operations, and strategy to implement effective plans and strategies. ● Accurately document and record the proceedings with each client and report back. ● Sell the company's medications to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals. ● Schedule appointments with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to promote company medications. ● Develop an in-depth understanding of company medications. ● Build and maintain good business relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases. ● Follow up on leads generated by the company. ● Prepare presentations for potential customers.

Requirements

These professionals should have an excellent technical grasp of the medical equipment or medicine they recommend to doctors. In addition, knowing the effects of the drug, the potential side effects, drug interaction and any other precautions related to the use of the drug is essential. Often, doctors may ask you questions related to a particular medical supply and as a representative, you should answer such queries. ● Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. ● Strong negotiation skills. ● Effective communication skills. ● Persuasive and resilient.
