Some of the main responsibilities of this role are as per below:
• Responsible for the Overall Medical Strategy and Articulates a bold and shared vision for the Medical team that is centered on the patient to deliver the North Star
• Evolving the Medical roles ,forms and empowers teams to make great decisions
• Support Community of Skill (COS) members with hard skill and soft skill development, and help exploit their strengths and handle their weaknesses and build up mindset they need to succeed
• Facilitates insights and actions from individuals and the team for self-development and for maintenance of a high level of performance
• Has an active role in effecting the culture change. Functions as an ambassador for culture change and is a role model in terms of agile way of working
• Support the development and execution of evidence generation strategy in partnership with other chapters for the disease area based on key insights and perspectives from multiple partners
• Engages as a player in the broader Affiliate and the Global Medical Affairs network to shape structures, processes and behaviors;
• Engages externally as well as internally with other functions and chapters on healthcare optimization, removing obstacles ,solve bottlenecks and continuously improve the patient journey
Requirements
• Degree in Medicine/PhD/Pharma with exceptional therapy area experience
• Strong Medical back ground and expertise
• Track record of leading teams (+5 years)
Competencies:
• Good medical knowledge and understanding of new molecules / new therapeutic areas and digital health
• Experience and expertise in how clinical decisions are made in the local clinical ecosystem
• Is inspiring and exude energy and passion
• Has a keen Medical focus and passionate about major trends in the new way of working
• Achieves optimum results by empowering teams and giving them responsibility, at the same time, challenging them and keeping them 'on the ball'
