Join a well known international company , a leader in the Steel industry, as a Mechanical Project Engineer in Udine. We seek an experienced professional to design, develop, and implement mechanical components and systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and innovative production solutions.
Responsibilities:
-Design and develop EOT cranes in accordance with European standards
-Perform static calculations for steel structures, including fatigue and welding analysis.
-Conduct mechanical sizing based on applicable standards and operational requirements.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years of experience in the engineering field, preferably in crane design.
-Strong familiarity with European crane design standards (DIN, FEM, EN 13001, EN 15011 and EN 13135) and Machine Directive 2006/42/EC.
-Proven experience in EOT crane design and manufacturing, experience in metallurgical environments is a significant plus.
-Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modeling software (e.g., Nastran, Ansys, or similar)
-Skilled in 2D and 3D modeling software, particularly AutoCAD and Inventor.
-Excellent command of MS Office tools, especially MS Excel, for calculations, data management and reporting.
-Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
-Willingness and availability to relocate abroad if required.
