● Reporting to the EPP team leader and Powertrain BU Manager. ● Monitoring foreign or local suppliers and validating their engineering changes on incoming parts or materials. ● Monitoring business trends and competitors’ activities and preparing monthly reports for management. ● Serving as technical lead for other teams cross-functionally (production, QC, method, machine manufacturing, and product/technical support) during new product/line development. ● Developing technical schedule covering all phases of new product development. ● Product development including BP, FS, risk analysis, design, validation, and verification. ● Developing measurement and test plans (DoE). ● Preparing development support documents. ● Process development and documentation. ● Preparing reports in a clear and technically accurate manner and presenting them to internal/external customers. ● Working independently and with suppliers to understand root causes of failures, propose design/component and material change, and validate changes.
● Familiar with production methods and technologies. ● Proficient in engineering document utilization (drawings, specifications, data sheets, and test plans). ● Familiar with product development principles and related support documents. ● Proficient in making technical reports. ● Good knowledge of powertrain, ICE, transmission, their working principle, and new technologies. ● Skilled in working with tools, EMS components, and engine peripherical parts. ● At least 3 years of experience in product development (the automotive industry’s products are a plus). ● Proficient in CAD software (CATIA, AutoCAD, and SOLIDWORKS). ● Familiar with CAE software. ● Familiar with risk analysis methods. ● Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well as part of a design team. ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. ● Proficient in ICDL (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP). ● Good proficiency in English. ● Excellent understanding of basic mathematics, physics, mechanics, mechanics of materials, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
