-Planning and organizing production schedules
-Assessing project and resource requirements
-Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
-Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
-Determining quality control standards
-Overseeing production processes
-Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
-Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
-Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
-Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff
-Supervising the work of junior staff
-Organizing relevant training sessions
-Read blueprints and specifications
-Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
-Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process
-Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced
-Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
-Accept or reject finished items
-Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
-Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products
-Report inspection and test data
-Reporting to: Executive director.
-Length of Probation Period: 3 months.
-Working hours: Saturday – Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. - 16:30 p.m. (Usually stay until 18:00) / work on Thursdays is negotiable.
Requirements
-University Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. degree from well-known universities, in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
-Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the related industries.
