As a logistics coordinator, you will have a professional role in analyzing and coordinating the ongoing logistical functions of a firm or organization. Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. A successful logistics coordinator should be able to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. You should also be able to promptly resolve distribution issues and have strong negotiation skills.
Essential Functions:
Oversee all supply chain operations.
Organize and manage inventory, storage, and transportation.
Analyze and optimize logistical procedures.
Review, prepare, and route purchase orders.
Ensure the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
Monitor shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
Address and resolve shipment and inventory issues.
Prepare and submit weekly reports related to the scope of work, procedures, and responsibilities.
Requirements
Understanding and making price analysis.
Comprehensive knowledge of foreign procurement and commercial procedures.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics Management or related fields.
At least 3 years of experience in the field.
Good knowledge of exporting/importing process.
A B2B sales background is preferred.
High attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision-making.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The initiative, independent, and well-organized character.
Time management and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of the structure and content of English including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
