Job Description

- Analyze information stated on insurance applications - Determine the risk involved in insuring a client - Screen applicants on the basis of set criteria - Evaluate recommendations from underwriting software - Contact field representatives, medical personnel, and others to obtain further information - Decide whether to offer insurance - Determine appropriate premiums and amounts of coverage - Review and update the rules that govern automation software.

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial science, IT, software Engineer, Economics, Insurance management. • Familiarity with a broad range of life insurance terminology. • Ability to organize data, multi-task and make decisions independently • Above average communication skills (written and verbal) • Ability to resolve complex issues • An interest in developing product knowledge through participation in approved educational programs • Ability to analyze data in Excel • self-motivated and organized, have excellent communication and client service skills
