Design, configure, and deploy local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
Install and maintain Virtual servers and Desktops, network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and optimize network infrastructure for maximum efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements, identify potential network improvements, and implement solutions.
Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
Perform regular network backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and trends, and make recommendations for network upgrades and enhancements.
Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for reference and knowledge sharing.
Provide technical support to end-users and assist with resolving Desktop, Software, and network-related issues.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a network specialist and a strong understanding of network infrastructure.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, including HP servers and storage.
In-depth knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP/IP, and VPNs.
In-depth knowledge of Virtual Services, including VMware, VDI, and Horizon.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft service, including Exchange, AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and WSUS.
Hands-on experience with networking hardware and software, such as Cisco, Sophos, MikroTik, and VoIP, and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools, such as Wireshark, OP Manager, and PRTG.
Industry certifications, such as MCITP, MCSE, CCNP, or Network+, are highly desirable.
