A reputable company in the tourism and hospitality sector is seeking to hire a Senior Business Development & International Marketing Manager. This position is ideal for candidates with substantial experience in the tourism industry who can leverage their marketing, negotiation, and leadership skills to expand the company’s global market share.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement commercial strategies to attract international tourists and increase market share
Manage pricing policies for tours and hotels
Set sales strategies and oversee both domestic and international sales channels
Build and strengthen partnerships with international agencies, airlines, and hotels
Lead negotiations and close contracts with global partners in tourism and hospitality
Conduct market analysis, identify target markets, and design marketing campaigns
Represent the company effectively at international exhibitions and industry events
Collaborate with the hospitality unit to enhance services and increase hotel occupancy rates
Provide regular reports on market trends, performance, and forecasts to the CEO and Board
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of international tourism markets (Europe, Arab countries, China, Russia, etc.)
Ability to design and execute strategies for attracting international tourists
Expertise in branding and international marketing in tourism
Experience managing hotel development projects and joint ventures with global brands
Familiarity with foreign investment regulations in Iran and target markets
Proficiency in English (knowledge of a second language such as Arabic, Turkish, Russian, or Chinese is a plus)
Leadership in managing business development teams
Cross-cultural and international negotiation skills
Strong global networking and relationship-building with foreign partners
Strategic thinking and a big-picture perspective of tourism markets
Flexibility and resilience in dynamic economic and international environments
Time management and prioritization in multi-project settings
Problem-solving and fast decision-making in competitive conditions
Ability to inspire teams and manage conflicts
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, MBA, or Business Economics
Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in business development, market expansion, and international tourism
Practical Skills: Experience negotiating and signing contracts with agencies, airlines, and international partners
Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with global reservation platforms (OTAs such as Booking, Expedia, TripAdvisor, etc.)
Advantage: Previous participation in international exhibitions and tourism events
Leadership: Proven ability to lead business development teams
