Job Description

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and surpass sales quotas.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive innovation and growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Approach new and old customers to get their requirements and prepare the inquiries to be sent to company principals.
  • Submit technical and commercial proposals to customers and do later follow-ups
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize strategies and tactics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchase and logistics, to align strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the senior management team.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and competitor activities.
  • Work closely with the chief procurement officer and report to him/her.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering fields or Business Administration; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in related positions.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance metrics.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Deep and extensive knowledge of long-term, midterm, and short-term project planning.
  • Knowledge of logistic terms and processes.
  • Good knowledge of procurement procedures, contracts, payment terms, UCP, and INCOTERMS.
  • Familiar with local customs procedures and official regulations.
  • Good command of negotiation skills to find the best prices and best contractual conditions.
  • Good knowledge of industrial equipment (mechanical and electrical).
  • Flexible in time working considering different time zones.
