Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Export & Import Manager to lead and expand our international trade operations in the nuts and dried fruits industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international business, regulatory compliance, supply chain, and procurement management, with the ability to identify new market opportunities and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all export and import operations, ensuring full compliance with international trade and customs regulations.
• Manage procurement activities in nuts and other Iranian agricultural products, including sourcing, supplier selection and development, as well as supplier and contract management.
• Supervise customs clearance, logistics, insurance, and international transportation processes.
• Prepare, review, and control export documentation including proforma invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and related shipping documents.
• Coordinate effectively with production, finance, and logistics departments to plan and execute timely shipments.
• Research and analyze foreign markets to identify new export opportunities.
• Identify and attract new international clients in target markets.
• Establish and maintain professional communication in English with buyers, agents, and importers.
• Manage and monitor foreign exchange obligations and ensure all currency-related commitments are settled on time.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with international partners, freight forwarders, and suppliers.
• Analyze export performance and market conditions, providing periodic reports to senior management.
• Lead and develop the export/import team to achieve operational excellence and strategic objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, International Trade, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in export/import operations, preferably in the nuts, dried fruits, or related food industry.
• Strong knowledge of export and import regulations, customs clearance, foreign exchange procedures, procurement, and international logistics.
• Excellent understanding of global market trends and the ability to identify and penetrate new markets.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
