Head of Accounting

Job Description

Espandar Holding is currently looking for a head of accounting in Tehran.

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Management.
• At least five years of work experience in a related field.
• High proficiency in accounting and financial software and solutions.
• Proficiency in tax and insurance laws and regulations.
• Ability to lead and develop an accounting and finance team, including training and evaluating employee performance, and communicating effectively.

Duties:

• Planning, preparing, and monitoring annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyzing financial performance and providing analytical reports to senior management.
• Monitoring cash flow, managing working capital, and optimizing financial resources.
• Ensuring the correct calculation of taxes (income tax, value added tax, payroll, etc.) and the timely submission of returns.
• Cooperating with internal and external auditors and responding to legal authorities (tax affairs organization, insurance, banks, etc.).
• Setting goals and priorities for the finance team and overseeing the optimal execution of processes.
• Providing solutions to reduce tax and insurance risks through smart financial planning.
• Managing relationships with banks, negotiating facilities, and credit lines.
