
Job Description
This year, the industrial group has decided to start investing in the home appliance and audio-visual industry due to the departure of large home appliance companies from Iran. This important task will be the responsibility of the newly established company (Ofogh Golestan Khavarmianeh). This project initially will start with the production of TVs and gradually other products such as dishwashers, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, air conditioners and refrigerators will be added. Role description: ● Budget preparation. ● Banking affairs (L/C, Bank Guarantee,). ● Plan, perform and coordinate and follow up on all foreign commercial affairs such as sourcing, correspondence, negotiating, ordering, overseeing any procurement, contracting, coordinating all activities of customs clearance and etc. ● Control logistics, domestic and international purchases, and purchasing department budgets. ● Estimate the lead time from ordering to delivering the goods to the factory. ● Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices. ● Maintain strong working relationships with the vendors, audits, and evaluations. ● Manage the sourcing, researching, auditing, and evaluation of suppliers based on price, quality, service, support, availability, delivery requirements, and preparing vendor list. ● Work closely with relevant departments to ensure products purchased are in line with the needs of the company. ● Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations. ● Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects. ● Perform purchasing activities on major accounts and negotiate purchasing prices and discounts in consultation. ● Review progress of commercial roles throughout the company. ● Develop specific plans to ensure all needed materials are prepared to avoid any delay in the production line. ● Maintain the purchasing policy and ensure that all purchases adhere to it. ● Find new suppliers and Choosing the suppliers that the company will deal with and maintaining the legal interaction with them. ● Liaise with other departments, particularly accounting and manufacturing. ● Manage the non-conformity orders and compensation method. ● Monitor the work of contractors. ● Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving. ● Negotiate with inspectors. ● Manage procurement team and train personnel and experts in purchasing department. ● Control the custom clearance and remove any possible issues of releasing cargo and finding solutions to difficult problems of clearance. ● Make a new procedure for resource evaluation. ● Solve problems in the sanction condition. ● Decrease the annual freight and insurance costs and make the best deal for freights with forwarders. ● Negotiate the best prices and terms of raw material with suppliers. ● Take care of negotiations of payment terms and following up on the payments and confirmation of them ● Establish terms, pricing, quality requirements, delivery, and contracts. ● Adhere to all company policies with particular regard to accounting procedures. ● Review all contracts/agreements to achieve ‘best price/best quality’ purchasing. ● Make recommendations and advise senior management on all purchasing issues. ● Maintain records of supplier contracts, agreements, and goods ordered received. ● Manage for calculating the amount of order to the finance department for funding the account No. in order to transfer the amount for the supplier by the bank. ● Handle the necessary actions for the delivery amount of PI by exchange currency or transferring the amount of order by TT till getting swift.
Requirements
● Ability in corresponding and negotiating both in English and Persian. ● Familiar with commercial and international business terms and regulations. ● Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, proactively, dynamism, and enthusiasm nature English proficiency and computer literacy with good working knowledge of MS Office. ● Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners. ● Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills. ● At least a Bachelor's degree. ● At least 5 years of experience in the foreign purchasing and commercial sector in reputable home appliance and audio-visual companies. ● Familiarity with the rules of import, allocation of currency and clearance of home appliances.
