Collaborate with managers to develop budgets for the business, usually on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Track, report, and monitor actual performance versus budget and analyze and report variances to management.
Review the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate.
Prepare month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Recommend changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance.
Forecast future financial performance.
Prepare and analyze budgets.
Provide accurate financial reports to management.
Ensure compliance with government regulations.
Oversee all financial planning and analysis.
Control all financial activities of operational teams (production, sales, supply chain, procurement, marketing HR, etc.) to find out the non-value-added activities in the value chain.
Ensure that financial information aligns with the strategic objectives of the business/departments.
In charge of closely monitoring a company's financial health through maintaining managing, and analyzing financial statements, payroll, budgets, tax compliance issues, and more.
Assist directors in developing the KPIs.
Provide business/departments with financial performance revision and analysis. This will include regular and ad hoc financial reporting requirements within the specified deadline.
Identify and measure value creation opportunities throughout the business value chain and identify risks and opportunities.
Take an active part in the S&OP process identify the gaps against the business/functional plans and add value through analytical insights and providing recommendations.
Review and control the ROI of the promotions and other marketing activities.
Review and control the business-related CAPEX. Verify the Payback, NPV, and ROI of the investment proposals and perform post-CAPEX appraisals.
Requirements
5 years of working experience in financial controlling, financial analysis, Managerial accounting and compliance.
Experience in the retail or FMCG industry is a must.
At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Industrial Engineering.
Demonstrated ability to gather and communicate data logically, accurately, and concisely.
Proficient use of MS Office programs especially MS Excel.
