About the job:

The Finance Director at Danone is responsible for leadership and coordination of company financial reporting, planning, and budget management functions. Ensures Company accounting and financial procedures confirm generally accepted accounting principles (Local GAAP and IFRS).

Challenges:

  • Financial and legal risk mitigation in all company’s contracts.
  • Co-manufacture reconciliation and contract.
  • On-time and accurate monthly closing.
  • Accurate budgeting and deviation and reporting to the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a finance, accounting, and IT competent team according to business requirements.
  • Close cooperation with the management team and effective participation in making strategic decisions for the company.
  • Troubleshoot, and optimize executive and system processes and organizational guidelines, plus monitoring internal controls.
  • Control and implement accounting and financial standards (local and international) and reporting analysis, implementation of laws, guidelines, and strategies of the company.
  • Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders of finance and IT dept.
  • Cashflow management and financial income optimization.
  • Help the top management team to make strategic decisions to increase profitability by providing suggestions to consider opportunities to increase revenues and manage costs.
  • Timely and accurate proposal of pricing to protect sustainable and profitable growth.
  • Conduct and control contracts (sales, purchasing, and all contracts with financial impact) rule completion to minimize legal and financial risks.
  • CAPEX budget request, payback, and ROI control.
  • Follow the company’s policies and procedures and support the company mission, vision, values, and standards of ethics.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, or Financial Management.
  • In addition to the above certificates, having business management is preferred.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • At least 10 years of managerial experience and financial management experience.
  • Work experience in multinational companies.

Technical Competencies

  • Execution capabilities as a financial business partner with all stakeholders
  • Multinational companies’ budgeting and reporting concept.
  • Knowledge of Finance, general accounting, cost accounting, financial and planning analysis, and managerial reporting and extensive knowledge of business controlling.
  • Mathematical intelligence.
  • Communication skills, interpersonal and organizational communication.
  • Ability to lead effectively and increase the spirit of cooperation.
  • Excellent speaking, listening, and writing skills in English.
  • Systemic thinking and the ability to facilitate inter-functional and organizational relationships.
