Job Description

Field Production Engineer (Petroleum): ● Supervise and monitor petroleum operations and well production process, services companies and well testing, well stimulation, production logging, asphaltene and sand removal operations, and any other activity related to oil well and production. ● Supervise and monitor slickline and coiled tubing well intervention operations. ● Monitor and analyze production and laboratory well data. ● Identify unsafe operations and practices and report to the manager immediately. ● Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities in the field to ensure maximum production. ● Perform analysis to reduce downtime and outages. ● Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements. ● Investigate problems, analyze root causes, and derive resolutions. ● Monitor, review and report obtained lessons learned from various studies, activities, and operations. ● Do other duties as assigned by the Senior Production Engineer.

Requirements

● Ability to anticipate potential problems, check for out-of-the-ordinary conditions, and have mitigation plans as well as remedial plans for production engineering operations. ● Familiar with other department duties such as operation and maintenance (O&M), drilling, and reservoir engineering and operation. ● Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. ● Self-motivated, with strong communication, interpersonal, and team working skills.
