Overseeing the daily operation of utilities plant and wastewater facilities to ensure that continuity of process flow and production are in place.
Following national, local, and bel group guidelines to make sure the utilities and facilities management system is aligned with regulatory policies.
Preparing utilities budget, which includes staffing expenses, equipment, and supplies necessary to maintain utilities and infrastructure.
Overseeing utilities, general service (including building and amenities), and wastewater treatment crews to monitor their performance and meet required action deadlines.
Working with other officials (including internal and external related authorities) to create policies for safe production.
Preparing and presenting reports to the managerial board of the factory regarding the operations of utilities to evaluate the efficiency and requirements of the system.
Supervising personnel, building teamwork, and addressing interpersonal issues to ensure that team members apply and respect the policies, and procedures (quality, health and safety, and food safety) of the company.
Communicating, participating, and investigating any unsafe act/ near miss/incident/ accident to sustain safety rules and discipline as a must.
Developing the maintenance plan and full operation of all utilities’ equipment on site to guarantee utility system sustainability and reliability.
Following up on all contracts related to utilities and all subcontractor activities to sustain the lifetime of the utilities equipment and facilities.
Implementing operation and maintenance for the firefighting system including all mechanical installation, piping, and hoses systems to provide accurate and proper firefighting facilities
Developing and implementing of the required actions based on electricity, gas, water, and CO2 emission optimizing and reducing to decrease the environmental footprint.
Coordinating environmental aspects based on ISO 14001 in technical matters to ensure the implementation of standards on site and its periodical renewal are in place.
Requirements
Fully operational knowledge of hygiene rules, HACCP Methodology, Utility PRPs, PPE, BBS-BSV, permit to work, Utility Safety, and Chemicals/MSDS.
Fully operational knowledge of utilities such as compressed air, refrigerant and chillers, water filtration and specification, steam, vacuum, air handling units, and pumps.
Software working knowledge (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Piping).
Fluent in English (all four skills).
Excellence knowledge of hygiene and safety parameters in the food industry.
