Drilling Fluids Engineer (Completion Engineer)

Job Description

• Prepare the project documentation (BOD) in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Verify all stages during the preparation of the project documentation (BOD) by the contractor in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Monitor and check the correctness of technical calculations in BOD, issuing comments in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Work out with the geological division of the well completion design and testing in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Check a drilling contractor's final BOD after contract conclusion in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Review and issuing proposals to improve drilling and completion programs in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Technical control of the well drilling process, issuing recommendations to the contractor in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Participate in technical meetings with contractors and PEDEC in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Prepare scope of work (SoW) for contract documents (CFT) for supervising both projects in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Audit contractors and drilling equipment in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Meetings with PEDEC during the contract preparation phase (SoW/BOD/CFT) in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Work out comments from bidders at the contracting stage, holding meetings in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Approve drilling and completion programs in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Conduct set-up meetings with the contractor and implement the “drilling well on paper” in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Justify necessary changes/optimizations to PEDEC during project implementation in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
• Regular trips to monitor the process on the rig and conduct inspections in terms of drilling fluids engineering.
