
Job Description
Liaise with customer in joint effort with Operations Controller. Operates as liaison for customer feedback between operations and commercial execution both on technical and commercial aspects. Respond to customer feedback and updates. Liase with Sales force to communicate with customer on technical and commercial aspects. Co-ordinate submission of quotations to sales and/or Customer. Receive enquiries, tenders and purchase orders / contracts and feed them to production line for generating proposal or execution. Review material and labour requirements to determine most cost-effective method of resourcing and provide cost estimation. Support Operations Controller by providing regular sales / enquiry report, cost estimates and delivery schedule updates. Analyse production specification and plant capacity to determine operations processes and capacity planning. Expedites operations that delays or alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions, ensuring such delays are communicated and managed. Liaision with external entities such as QFA offices, Custom and suppliers when and if necessary to support operations and customer needs on delivery.
Requirements
Graduate in Business or Engineering. Production planning experience utilising an MRP or ERP system. Demonstrated ability and experience in: • Communication skills (verbal and written). • Influencing skills, and ability to accomplish tasks when the performers are not necessarily in the direct line of authority. • Customer Service Ethos. • Strong attention to detail. • Carrying out analytical and problem solving activities. • Carry out required tasks with strong follow through and closure. • Developing effective working relations with multiple internal and external groups.
