Job Opportunity: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The company focuses on the direct sourcing, sorting, packaging, and distribution of fresh produce. With a fully integrated infrastructure, including cold storage facilities, sorting and packaging centers, and modern administrative offices, it is now scaling rapidly and seeking top-tier professionals to join its leadership team.

Position:

• Chief Operating Officer (COO);
• Location: Mashhad, Iran;
• Employment Type: Full-Time, On-site;

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, including procurement, inventory, logistics, cold chain, sorting, and retail distribution.
• Implement scalable operational systems and performance controls.
• Optimize the supply chain to reduce waste and increase operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the technology team to align digital tools with real-world processes.
• Monitor KPIs and report directly to the CEO with data-driven insights.
• Manage multi-departmental teams across different locations.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Logistics, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in an operations leadership role, preferably in FMCG, food distribution, or e-commerce/logistics startups.
• E-commerce Experience: Familiarity with online sales operations, fulfillment systems, and customer delivery logistics.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, operational dashboards, and inventory management tools.
• Language: Fluent in Persian and proficient in English (reading documentation and professional correspondence).
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, time management, and decision-making under pressure.
