Job Description
Management of Daily Operations:
- To manage all operational aspects of the business, including departments like finance, human resources, and sales.
Process Optimization:
- To identify areas for improvement in workflows and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity across all departments.
Performance Monitoring:
- To track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and identify areas requiring attention.
Team Leadership:
- To lead and motivate teams, ensuring they have the resources and guidance to meet operational goals.
Budget Management:
- To control operational budgets, ensuring resources are used effectively and efficiently.
Relationship Management:
- To build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and other relevant parties.
Risk Management:
- To identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization.
Innovation and Technology:
- To evaluate and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency and maintain a competitive edge.
Compliance:
- To ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA degree is preferred.
- Five to seven years of experience as a C-level management/business COO or in a similar leadership role within the sales industry.
- A machinery-related business field would be preferred.
- Strong understanding of business functions such as sales and after-sales service, finance, HR, ordering, and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent skills in effective follow-up and communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English correspondence and technical-financial documentation.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
