Job Description

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, specifically focused on generative AI blog news.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins for websites.
Modify existing themes and plugins to meet business objectives.
Ensure websites are responsive, SEO friendly, and optimized for speed.
Collaborate with team members, including designers, project managers, and content creators.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites.
Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends and technologies, specifically in the context of generative AI news blogs.
Perform regular website maintenance, including backups, updates, and security checks.

Requirements

Proven experience as a full-time WordPress developer, with a portfolio of WordPress websites.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
Knowledge of website design best practices, including responsive design and SEO optimization.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A team player mentality and a positive “can do” attitude; looking for a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiar with ChatGPT and other Generative AI services, preferably in the context of a blog or news site.
Familiarity with website hosting and server management.
Understanding of UX/UI design principles.
