Job Description
The Job Holder is responsible for: - Executes mechanical activities on-site as directed including: • All planned maintenance tasks (scheduled & emergent) relevant to utility equipment • Supervises On-site Contractor work execution • Implementation of routine PM checks • Ensures equipment, materials and tools are on-hand for work execution. Reports resources and time utilized, job scope expansion, rework or deferred maintenance as required; also keeping all tasks & activities logged and up-dated Ensuring work compliance to standards, tolerances and fits & working in accordance with sound engineering practices on all jobs under his purview, both On-Site and occasionally in Contractor Workshops - Ensuring mechanical spare parts availability for scheduled and projected jobs - Perform any other related job that may be assigned from time to time - Work on shift and be flexible with shift arrangement
Requirements
BS degree in mechanical or facilities engineering At least 3 years working experience in maintenance activities Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Good computer and report writing skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs. High regard for safe work practices and procedures Ability to work independently and effective team player
