Job Description

• Following up to ensure the overall goals of the unit in terms such as safety, quality, cost, delivery, employee morale, and environmental impact.

• Supervising the conditions of produced energy and its balance with consumers and meeting the comfort needs of all parts of the organization such as cooling, heating, hot and cold water, sanitation and proper ventilation.

• Management of all energy & water consumptions according to factory target.

• Monitoring the correct performance of tests and controlling and analyzing the results.

• Propagating all installation plans such as water lines, condensate vapor, compressed air, gas, etc.

• Controlling and reviewing the current conditions of the unit and the ability to improve them in line with the goals of the organization.

• Participating in internal committees including safety, quality, environment, energy , etc, also in internal and external audits.

• Following up on the contractors presence in utility unit.

• Controlling, monitoring and defining of improvement projects regarding the condition of all equipment used in the unit.

• Checking and controlling the results and relevant environment and energy KPI's during the process and performing corrective action in case of any deviation.

• Participating and controlling the proper implementation of safety ,environment and energy standards through safety meetings, audits, incident reporting and risk assessment.

• To actively contribute to designing, implementing and reviewing the FSMS by participating to the FS Core team working plan as agreed amongst the team.

• Analyzing of all conditions of unit activities and planning regarding their consolidation and improvement.

• Eliminating the observed shortcomings and fix them.

• Supporting to eliminate deviations from the utility unit indicators in various meetings and committees.

•Tracking and procurement of spare parts for equipment related to its area.

• Preparing required documents and materials by the unit related to its knowledge and skills through competent companies and approved by the organization.

• Following the cooperation in improving unit equipment and providing appropriate solutions.

• Using proper PPE in accordance with work activities based on the unit instruction.

•Analyzing the routine inventory of the unit.

• Preparing the utility Roadmap according to factory Business plan on annual basis and implementing it in unit.

• Minimum BScs in the field of Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Fluid Mechanics, preferably specialized in HVAC systems and thermal–refrigeration installations.

• 2 years managerial experiences in relevant field.

• Nature & Energy Management (Nature Fundamentals & reporting, Nature Key Streams- Water, Nature Key Streams Carbon/Climate, Nature Key Streams- Food Waste, Industrial environment).

• Full knowledge about types of coils and air generators.

• Knowledge of installation equipment such as air compressors, ammonia system, air conditioners, AM, PM program.

• Full knowledge of cooling & Heating systems.

• Full knowledge of utility systems implementation and utility foundation.

• Full knowledge of iced water production system.

• Full knowledge of running and maintaining energy generators such as boilers.
